Dr. Patricia Lowrimore is a committed and caring neuropsychiatrist dedicated to the recovery and rehabilitation of persons with coexisting psychiatric and neurologic conditions. She has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of complicated behavioral disturbances associated with traumatic brain injuries and other neurologic disorders such as the dementias, developmental disorders, autism, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and many more.
Currently Dr. Lowrimore provides clinical consultation and neuropsychiatric treatment to patients of Pate Brain Injury Rehabilitation in Dallas and Anna, Texas, the Abilene State School in Abilene, Texas and the Autism Treatment Center in Dallas, Texas. She is Executive Director of NeurobeMD, P.A. Neurobehavioral Health in Dallas, Texas. In addition to her private outpatient practice, Dr. Lowrimore is a consultant to physiatrists, neurologists, and other professionals who provide clinical and legal services to persons with neuropsychiatric conditions.
Previous faculty appointments have included Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) of the University of Medicine and Dentistry Of New Jersey (UMDNJ/Rutgers University) in Piscataway, NJ and Yale University College of Medicine in New Haven, CT. Dr. Lowrimore has been involved in academic research for many years, is a published author and is listed in the Consumer's Research Council of America Guide to America's Top Psychiatrists.
Dr. Lowrimore has served as Medical Director of the Green Oaks Center for Neuropsychiatric Study in Dallas, Texas, Clinic Director of the Samuel L. Baily Huntington's Disease Family Service Center at RWJMS, consulting neuropsychiatrist at the Willow Creek Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey and the Wyoming State Training School in Lander, Wyoming.
She served as Chief Resident in Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York in 1996. She began her psychiatric residency at the same institution 1992 after earning her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
